We start each consultation with a thorough skin analysis and offer our patients an informative and private consultation with no obligations. We will tailor a treatment program based on your unique requirements using state of the art equipment and the very best products on the market.

Chemical Peels

We chose to add chemical peels to our treatment menu because chemical peels are among the most popular minimally-invasive skin procedures. Today, more people are choosing this treatment option to experience numerous skin benefits. With a single treatment, you’ll start noticing the difference. We have various peels and all have varying downtime according to the nature of the treatment.

During your treatment, a skin aesthetician will apply a solution of chemicals to the surface of your skin. When removed, the chemical peel will take dull surface skin cells along with it. Discarding the top layer of your skin will send a message to your living skin cells to multiply and move to the surface. This signals your body to boost collagen production, which will improve your skin’s elasticity. Additionally, this reaction increases the production of natural hyaluronic acid. As a result, your skin will begin to look and feel younger.

Our Mesopeel Modified Jessner peel is one of our more popular treatments. This peeling formula breaks the cohesion of the epidermis cells, lightens and reduces pigmentation, reduces superficial scars, smoothes the skin and reduces wrinkles. It cleans pores and reduce the likelihood of acne. Moreover, it improves the thickness of the dermis, increase the production of glucose aminoglycans, and post-treatment will leave your skin glowing.

Skin Treatments

We have a range of skin treatments such as, Mesotherapy. This is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin. The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin. The idea behind Mesotherapy is that it corrects underlying issues like poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage.

The injections can be given at different depths, from between 1 to 4 millimetres into your skin and is dependent on what condition you’re being treated for. Each injection may only place a tiny drop of the solution into your skin.

It is likely that you’ll need several Mesotherapy sessions to get the desired effect. You should expect to return to the doctor between 3 to 15 times. At first, you’ll get the injections every 7 to 10 days. If your skin starts to improve, the treatments will be stretched out to once every two weeks or once a month.

In addition to our skin treatments we also offer the Platelet Rich Plasma facial. Also know as the vampire facial, this treatment harnesses the body’s ability to heal itself. Plasma is the liquid portion of whole blood and provides a medium for red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets to circulate through the body. Platelets contain proteins and growth factors that stimulate healing and regeneration. If injected into the skin, they naturally stimulate rejuvenation, improving skin texture and skin tone.

Fillers & Injectables

Dermal fillers are one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments available, used to restore volume and decrease wrinkles. Dermal fillers are for those who are looking for treatments to smooth smile lines and crow’s feet and plump up their lips, cheeks, and hands. At World of Faces we use Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) which, is a prescription injection for temporary improvement in the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults less than 65 years of age.

At World of Faces we believe that taking care of your skin is of the utmost importance. Not only is your skin the first thing people see when meeting you, but it is a clear indication of your overall health. Glowing beautiful skin is the business we’re in and we want you to invest in your skin. Visit World of Faces in Melville, Johannesburg or Century City, Cape Town because you are worth it.
