FAQs
What is best treatment for fine line and wrinkles?
Depending on the severity of the concern we use Peels, micro needling, Dysport, and fillers. These best treat the area of concern whether it be the forehead, eyes area, nasolabial fold and saggy cheeks.
What is Dysport?
It is a liquid injected by a trained Doctor to temporary inhibit and relax muscle movement to stop the constricted look on the face, which is commonly know as wrinkle or fine lines, it can also be used to stop excessive sweating on armpits.
How will I know what is best for me when I make a booking?
We recommend a Consultation first with our Medical Aesthetician who will then either create a treatment plan for you or book you in with our resident Doctor for all injectables.
What happens after my consultation, can I do my treatment on the same day?
Always have a budget as to guide what you can do on the day, but yes you can do any recommended treatment on the day unless you need to first prepare your skin with product.
What is the down time for a peel?
It all depends on the peel chosen for your skin, but minimum is 7 to 14 days, where we will instruct you on what to do post treatment. Patients can experience redness, swelling, flaking and tightness of the skin after a chemical peel. It is best to do deeper peels in the winter season as it minimises swelling.
Which products do you use?
Mesoestetics, Lamelle and Restylane for our Fillers.
Do you accept Medical Aid?
No, however we supply you with a receipt which you can submit to your medical aid to try and claim.
